JA Young Entrepreneur Competition - Northeast
Student entrepreneurs in grades 9 - 12 are eligible to apply.
Junior Achievement’s Young Entrepreneur competition is a "Shark Tank" style event. Four finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses to a panel of celebrity judges, each hoping to secure the top scholarship prize.
Finalists will be judged on business success, growth potential, social involvement, and other factors including leadership, innovation, and personal integrity.
In addition to the grand prize of $5,000, three other finalists will receive $1,500 scholarships each, recognizing their entrepreneurial achievements.
Junior Achievement shines a spotlight on Wisconsin teens who have taken the initiative to turn their business ideas into fully operational ventures.
Teen entrepreneurs interested in participating are encouraged to view and fill out the application below. To be considered, students must submit a completed application, a headshot, a video pitching their business, a signed media release, and a permission slip (for those under 18).
