JA BizTown
JA BizTown is an elementary program that begins with in-class learning and culminates with a day-long visit to a fully interactive, simulated town where students operate the economy of a small city. Each student takes on a role such as CEO, CFO, Marketing Director, Sales Manager and others in order to run their businesses, receive paychecks, make bank transactions and shop. They consider saving/spending choices, risk management & insurance strategies, and make personal, career and business-related decisions.

Each student takes on a specific career, education, family size, credit score and student debt. They create and manage a monthly budget and are faced with making important financial decisions related to income, expenses, savings and credit through various life stages.
