Our partnership with the Racine Family YMCA continues to grow! The YMCA operates afterschool programs at Julian Thomas and Knapp Elementary, and they are bringing JA in to deliver engaging, small-group lessons. We’re looking for volunteers to help bring these sessions to life — Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday starting anytime from 3:45–5:30 PM. Go with a teammate, share your experience, and make a real impact on students who benefit from this extra enrichment time.

.Racine/Kenosha Volunteer Opportunities - Kenosha Career Fair – April 2–12 (Date TBD)
I’m excited to share that we’re planning a Kenosha Career Fair this spring! We’re expecting 100+ students in grades 6–12 from across the community. If you or your company would like to have a booth or presence at the event, please let me know — it’s a wonderful way to connect with students directly and showcase local career paths.
Education Center Volunteer Opportunities - JA BizTown or JA Finance Park
JA BizTown and JA Finance Park are traditional programs that culminate with students visiting the JA Education Center facility in Milwaukee, WI. During these Experiential Learning Experiences, students get to navigate real-life scenarios and adventures while volunteers guide them along the way. Each day, we require a minimum of 17 volunteers in order to provide the best possible experience for students. No prior experience or training is necessary! JA Staff will provide the training when you arrive on-site.
Please consider volunteering on multiple dates as there is no limit on how many volunteer dates an organization/individual can participate. We would love for you to post/promote these JA volunteer opportunities within your organization or social networks as they serve as great team building initiatives.
