JA of Wisconsin is hosting JA BizTown Summer Camp in Appleton, WI. Campers will jumpstart their journey into adulthood through daily lessons, hands-on activities and team-building games.
Ages: 9-13
Two Weeks Offered: July 13-17 or August 3-7
Timeline: 9am-3pm
Camp Highlights Include:
- Participants will spend the first four days of camp learning key economic concepts and work readiness skills that prepare them for the real world.
- On the final day, participants will put their learning to the test as they work together to run JA BizTown.
- They will operate a credit union, restaurant, city hall and other businesses while experiencing firsthand the flow of an economy and community.
