JA Stock Market Challenge: South Central Region
The JA Stock Market Challenge is a live simulation where students take what they learned in the classroom, through the JA Take Stock in your Future curriculum, and apply it to the real world. JA Areas facilitate fast-paced competitions based on a fictional marketplace. Students will build their portfolio and spend 60 days in a fictional stock market to see how their investments perform. They will react to news events and have the ability to trade their stocks with floor traders. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 ranked teams and the first and second placed team will advance to the Statewide Stock Market Challenge.
Important Note: The students must have completed the JA Take Stock in Your Future curriculum in the classroom to participate.

All high School students from the South Central and Southwestern regions of Wisconsin will gather and compete in teams of 4 students against other area high school students.
