JA Stock Market Challenge: South Central Region

High School students from South Central region of Wisconsin will gather and compete in teams of 3-4 against other area high school students.
The JA Stock Market Challenge is a live simulation where students take what they learned in the classroom, through the JA Take Stock in your Future curriculum, and apply it to the real world. JA Areas facilitate fast-paced competitions based on a fictional marketplace. Students will build their portfolio and spend 60 days in a fictional stock market to see how their investments perform. They will react to news events and have the ability to trade their stocks with floor traders. The event is fast paced. We are looking for volunteers as 'floor traders' too.
The 1st & 2nd place teams will be awarded prizes.
Important Note: Completion of JA Take Stock in Your Future is required to register for this event.
