National Make-A-Will Month

Even if You Plan to Live to 150, You Still Need a Will. Get Started Today!

August is here, and with it comes National Make-A-Will Month. This dedicated month is designed to act as a reminder to spend time thinking about the future and this important step to protect your loved ones and create a legacy that reflects your values. According to Caring.com's 2025 Wills Survey, only 24% of U.S. adults have a will in 2025 - down from 33% in 2022.

If you haven’t written your will yet—or you think it makes sense to update the will you have—now is a wonderful time to join the movement.

Supporters like you are the core of everything we do at Junior Achievement of Wisconsin. You make it possible for us to inspire and prepare young people for success in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

That's why, during National Make-A-Will Month, we have a gift to thank you: an online tool to create a legally valid will, so you can take care of the people you love and the causes you care about most. This resource is 100% FREE to help you get started. Click below to get started.

None of us live forever. But there are plenty of ways to have a positive impact on the world long after you're gone. One of these methods is to designate a charity in your will. You can name as many or as few charities as you want, select specific assets that you want to go to charities, donate a lump sum, designate a percentage of your estate—the possibilities are vast.

Including a gift in your will is a powerful way to support Junior Achievement of Wisconsin - and it costs you nothing today!
