Local Real Estate Leader Joins Junior Achievement Board

LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN –Bridget Thomas, of Raven Realty, has joined the Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Board of Directors in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  Bridget has lived in the Coulee Region since 2014, working for tech companies until she discovered a love of residential real estate and helping families, friends, and peers find their perfect home.

A native of Richland Center, Bridget now calls Onalaska home where she loves spending her free time with family taking kids to karate, dance, soccer, baseball, and softball events.  Her professional motto - “If you want something done, have a Mom do it” - illustrates the energy she brings to her realty clients, her family, and now to the work Junior Achievement does in the La Crosse area.

She knew she had to get involved with Junior Achievement after her kids shared their classroom experiences with JA volunteers.  “After years of watching my kids come home with their JA work, and excitedly tell me what they learned, I wanted to be part of that for our local kids”, said Bridget.  “Financial literacy is one area of education that would have helped me immensely coming into adulthood. After working in many business roles, from startups to major corporations, and eventually as an entrepreneur, I love exploring and sharing ‘what’s possible’ with learners at every grade level – and they make me laugh in every classroom session!”, added Bridget.

In addition to serving on the Junior Achievement Board of Directors, Bridget is also involved with Rotary Club of La Crosse, Jaycees, League of Women Voters, Onalaska Art Keepers, and Miss La Crosse Oktoberfest.

Junior Achievement has delivered financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness programming to northwest Wisconsin students for more than 30 years. Through partnerships with local corporate volunteers, educators, and donors, JA fulfills its vision for a world where young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities. Over the past 5 years, the La Crosse office of Junior Achievement of Wisconsin has used a dedicated core of nearly 200 volunteer mentors to serve 11,340 students in the Coulee Region.
