Wisconsin Young Entrepreneur to Appear on National Web Series
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN – Thirteen-year-old Jonah Larson will appear on the April installment of The Arena. Larson, a student at Lincoln Middle School in La Crosse, Wisconsin, has built an impressive crochet empire by sharing his videos and words of inspiration with more than 120,000 YouTube subscribers, 155,000 Facebook followers, and 290,000 Instagram followers. He has written two books, has been a regular guest on the Drew Barrymore Show, and sells his crochet pieces and kits online. In January 2021, he was named Wisconsin Young Entrepreneur of the Year and awarded a $10,000 scholarship at the Young Entrepreneur Live competition hosted by Junior Achievement.
The Arena is a periodic web series where celebrity coaches listen to business pitches from teen entrepreneurs and then provide constructive feedback and guidance. Junior Achievement USA is hosting this series in partnership with the Brian Hamilton Foundation and the Taco Bell Foundation.
The third episode of The Arena is taking place at 1:30pm Eastern on April 21, 2021. The celebrity coaches will be eight-time Olympic medalist Apolo Ohno and Dancing with the Stars’ Julianne Hough. They and Sageworks Co-Founder Brian Hamilton will provide insights to some of today’s brightest young entrepreneurs.
